Don't get down. Whoever can make it should still go. It would still be fun for you to meet the people on the forum. It would just be less formal. And as the years go by, it will continue to grow. You can't help but have a good time. Getting on the forum after you've met some people would be even better. I'm sorry I can't go, but it's just not in the cards for this year. I just came back from Daytona (those plans had been made before the rally came up) and my SO's daughter is graduating from high school so we have graduation around that time. Next year I won't have as many expenses because I had to buy the trailer to haul the bikes to Daytona. Maine is too cold and far to ride to Florida in March! Although my So met a few guys over 60 years old that did it. He met the guy because he is taking over his motorcycle safety course while he recovers from his HEART ATTACK! he had when he got back. NO WONDER! He also met the guy whose wife was killed in Daytona. Husband hit a deer and they went down. They had stopped traffic and some #&$%#&*$%# couldn't wait in traffic, passed the line of traffic and ran over her. Dragged her down the road and took the top of her head off. They determined the extent of her injuries from the mc accident was a broken wrist. The rest was the jerk who ran over her. I don't know what 's happening with that but I'll keep you posted if I hear anything. They should stick him in the middle of I-4 with cars doing 70 mph around him and tell him to dodge the cars. Then send a group of tractor trailers down. Guess you can see I'm and eye for an eye. Or just let him loose on I-4 with 2,000 bikes playing dodge ball.
He's the ball. I don't have patience for idiots like that.
